We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Director of Sales and Business Development to lead our efforts in growing and maintaining relationships with new and existing customers. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales, particularly in the travel industry, and possess excellent communication, interpersonal, and time management skills. This role requires someone who thrives in a fast-paced, independent environment while consistently meeting and exceeding sales goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- ● Build and maintain strong relationships with potential new and current customers to drive sales growth.
- ● Engage with customers to assess their needs, offer tailored solutions, and foster long-term partnerships.
- ● Effectively communicate our product offerings and value proposition to diverse stakeholders.
- ● Stay up-to-date with industry trends, including airline NDC efforts, and understand how these affect technology requirements for TMCs and agencies.
- ● Develop and execute strategies to meet new sales goals, both short-term and long-term.
- ● Manage the sales pipeline and consistently close deals, ensuring that targets are met and exceeded.
- ● Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth implementation and delivery of services.
- ● Travel as required (up to 25%) to meet with clients, attend industry events, and represent the company.
Qualifications:
- ● At least 5 years of sales experience in the travel industry with a proven track record of success.
- ● Deep understanding of TMCs/agency workflow and current technology solutions.
- ● Familiarity with airline NDC efforts and their impact on technology requirements for TMCs and agencies.
- ● Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and engage effectively with customers.
- ● Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently and prioritize tasks.
- ● Willingness to travel up to 25% for client meetings, industry events, and business development opportunities.
- ● Self-motivated, with a focus on achieving sales targets and contributing to the company's growth.
